I have a gsr short block that i hydro locked and then snapped a rod and it went through the block. It has a whole in the back. The sleeves appear to be fine from the top. I welded up a block just like this with the same type of damage and it ran fine. I have heard a few people that have hydro locked their block and it threw a rod and the crank be fine because it didn't spin a bearing. Basically you're getting a block that has a whole that needs to be welded up, 4 good pistons, 3 good rods, more then likely a good crank, more then likely a good girtle, this is great base for a nice cheap build. The cylinder walls are slightly rusted but with wd-40 and a nice hone it will be fine. LMK I need sold asap make an offer.
