Well i think $500 is a good price also, being that it has problems, but not talking shit at all though, so lmk if you'll take $500 and are you sure the bottom end isn't knocking or the head didn't drop a valve or jump timing and fuck shit up, lmk

keith you need to describe this motor better. like the fact that jeff just rebuilt the head 8 months ago with all new lma's, rev flat valves,guides,rockers.ect everything. and the motor doesnt smoke or knock at all. what happened was it over heated and he tried to put a new head gasket on it and it didnt work, it still ran sloppy.it was idling bad and didnt have proper compression.it sounded like it needs to be resurfaced and needs new head bolts because there stock and stretched.thats why its not getting the right compression and idling bad. but it will run and start i seen it run with my own two eyes.the owner just got feed up with it and inpatient so he sold it to keith.

so if it has bad compression you're going to tell me that the head my not be fucked, true if the head needs to be resurfaced because it's warped then yes it might have bad compression, also my head bolts are about 200,000 miles and they still don't give me a problem where i need to replace them, maybe if you got them mixed up and put them in the wrong place, well pm me the lowest you'll take on the whole set up or just the head and ls vtec kit, lmk i am interested

iwhat im saying is stock head bolts are torque to yeild meaning once you take them off the are shot because they stretch. thats why if you call a parts store for a head gasket they will recommend replacing the head bolts. the more you tighten and loosen them the worse they get and when that happens and you start the motor the head will lift more than normal and cause loss of compression.
