Default need an f20c

well i locked up my b16 in my del sol last month and this month i flew into philly for a month for work and last weekend i bought an 01 s2000 with a turbo. had to have the car offer i couldnt refuse. saturday i picked the car up drove into downtown philly on the way back i ran it a little and ended up missing 3rd and tacked it way up. long story short my car is back at the dealer without #1 and #4 cylinder. to me there is no way i did this something had to be wrong with it to begin with. the car only has 13k miles on it. the person who built it must have known something and got rid of it while they could. there is a data logger so they are gonna run back and check to see how i drove im sure and try to blame me. if this happens does anybody know where i can get an f20 for a reasonable price. ive looked all over the web and thats not a motor too many people carry. now i know why the offer was so good.

You mis-shifted badly in a turbo s2000..It probably was your fault. Regardless, you're most likely going to have to pay for it out of your own pocket. Try hmotorsonline for a new f20, i have never been disappointed with their motors or service.

If it has AEM the rev-limiter should have caught a mis-shift on the RPM side unless the tuner was a complete dip-shit and set the limiter too high. The data logger? What type of system is this? PM me, we are S2000 specialists!

I got a f20c shortblock I bought to build if interested. I was going to sleeve it for big boost, but have since started other projects. Not sure of condition think it has bad piston, ring? $600.00
