Ok So My Boy Has An Ef Hatch That Quit Starting The Other Day And So I Thought It Was The Starter So I Replaced It And Still No Start, And I Know That The Starter Is Good And I Was Just Wondering If Someone Out There Has Had This Problem Befor And Could Help Me Out.. you should try posting this in the tech forum

 

might be the clutch switch under the pedal..

 

it might be your ignition switch, run a cable from the battery(positive) to the starter(the small plug, not the one with the nut) if the car cranks and\or starts, your problem is the ignition switch

does the fuel pump runs? when you turn the key does it go through the necessary stuff like fuel pump, dinging noise blah blah blah? if it doesn't it could be your main relay.

 

check ur main fuse in ur fuse box in the egine department
