need help
i believe the SOHC distributors sit cocked sideways when installed, and the DOHC ones sit vertical...

chris if he doesn't have pixx, go 2 advance and ask then 2 look @ the pic of the SOHC one and then ask 2 look @ the DOHC one......that would be my option
what i meant is, if you look, both distributors are lined up and bolted on to the cylinder heads in these pics, but the SOHC dizzy is at some crazy 70 degree angle(from vertical, its almost sideways), while the DOHC dizzy is almost perfectly flat with the top of the valve cover.
what i suggest is, if you line up the feet like it was going onto the motor, then you will see what angle it will sit at, and you can figure out which one it is.
