the new civics have an r18 ivtec motor i wanted to know if their any good, lmk if any one has one or knows about them

 

i hav an 08 ex civic with that comes with the r18. i think the R means race LOL. it is a i-vtec. 140-hp, 1.8-liter, SOHC i-VTEC, Power-Assisted Ventilated Front Disc/Solid Rear Disc Brakes. i think he was talking bout this one. i love my car i put custum side exit Exhaust System every 1 looks like what the hell its loud as fck. on these site u can get every thing u could want. lot of parts header, turbos, bodykits, Lambo-Style Door, intak and Exhaust. i plan on puttng all this stuf on my car. i just talked to the guy from 2kracing he said u can put these headers on th EX with no problem even tho the cat is in the cat is in the manifold.

^^^ You have some problems, anyways considering the year of the motor and what not, it will be too mch money to get it installed then what it's actually worth and then the next step is finding one for a good price considering it's only 140hp and a b16 is a little more, anyways g/l but not worth it!

 

wel not really this stuff is cheap to me but i got a good job. and what r u talking bout year of motor he said r18 thats the new civic mines an 08 and i just ordered this turbo kit. but define what u r talking about or make sure u know what u r talking about. and it a great car get it most people hate cause they cant get a new car or all these mods with all the stuff i got on my car now people just lok lik dame. all the groups im in they dnt even say crap when i drop all these sites cause they now there cars could never keep up. i raced a crx with every thing on it ( intake, exashst, headers and race cluth) and my car is like 400 or more lbs. and all i had on my car was exhaust and i beat him. its a bad ass car. my bro has a g35 an i raced that an i could keep up so dnt open ur ears to the haters. and if i got it wrong and u were just talking bout in general no harm no faule.

Anyways like I said the motor is slow and would be too much to buy and too much money to get it to swap into your car and then it would still be a sohc and slow when you can order a JDM B16 complete swap for $1800 and swap it in with no probs and beat this ^^^ civic with lambo's and exhaust and header, etc. lol That shit is funny! Look man if you got the real civic the actual Si with the K20 dohc I-Vtec 2.0 then you would have something to brag about, g/l man this is a waste!

hey kid with the headers, race this crx that has header intake exhaust and its a piece of shit ! ill give u a running start ! (keep in mind i have about $1500 into it and pay $40 a month 4 insurance) i love my toilet !
