How can the block have Darton sleeves and a block guard? Is the motor sleeved or block guarded?

free-floating sleeves can still have blockguards. not all sleeved blocks have built in braces like GE and AEBS. my guess is theyre the darton replacement sleeves tho

yes, i think theyre steel sleeves though. motor looks stout in person, just not closed deck.

Like I said in my 1st post Darton sleeves & Str block gaurd.
Race Eng: Ds-200-14 Darton Replacement Sleeve B18-81mm $41.5 Each.
These were in the block before the rod incedent happened. Yes rod went thru block. Has been welded and fixed. Still trying to get pics for ya.
