these stereos were not one of the best options in 94. I know because mine and everyone I know has the same problem with them. I say aftermarket is your best option.

no they weren't, i hear the after markets are a pain in the ass to get right though

I have my original 1994 Bose CD player still, I took it out because the tuner knob stopped working.
But I do have the wiring specs for the stock radio harness and all you need to do is match the aftermarket harness with the stock.
