Default F/S 1986 Monte SS

Well time has come, I had such large plans for the car but lack of motivation since all my time and money goes into my bikes.

Ok its a 1986 Monte Carlo SS, Car has 187k, Trans has 4k. I rebuilt the trans over christmas time after loosing 2nd gear. It has a CK performance Strip rebuild capable to 550hp. Car is mostly stock, It has turndowns, ele fans, alum radiator, and thats about it for performance mods. Its been my daily driver for the last 2 years and never gave me any problems. New tires with less than 500 miles on them. I also have the stock rims for it as well that are in great shape just the tires are dryrotted. Doesnt smoke, knock or use oil. Its very well taken care of. A/c works, isnt the coldest as its running on a 24yr old charge but it works great at night and in the rain lol. Overall the interior I would say is a 8 out of 10, due to the drivers seat. Also has a Pioneer AVIC N1 Navigation/Dvd player flip up

Now the Bad.
1. Small tear in driverside seat bottom (as seen in pic)
2. Leaks oil from valve covers (have new gaskets)
3. To light of a 1-2shift govenor spring installed so it does the 1-2 shift at 4200 instead of 5600. (I have the correct spring for that)

Any questions feel free to ask....

Update... Timing gear stripped off when pulling into my driveway, I replaced the timing set but from turning over the motor it colapsed a few lifters. I dont feel like pulling the motor appart to reprime or replace the lifters.

Im asking 2500$ firm and yes it is driveable

I dont think so, the gear let go pulling into my driveway (lucky I know). No smoke from the exhaust, or idle issues. When the engine is running is sounds like loose rockers. I pulled the driverside valve cover and the number 1 cyl had play in the rocker which led me to diagnose it as colapsed lifters. I just dont have time to mess with it.
