well u have the same platform as our buddies formula ta and the tires stuck out about 2" past the fender, only problem he had was the disk brakes in the rear r very large, their baer's, but they didnt protrude horrible to make it look disgusting. looked very stout with em

 

Not sure what you are talking about but neither the Z06 wheels or my Welds stick out past the fender. If your buddy has tires sticking out past the fender he purchased wheels with the wrong offset. Regardless what brakes are on the car.
