why not? 10AE T2's are supposed to be fast arent they? he's just taking measures to make sure that applies to his.

if you want to do a v8 rx7 do a regular one not a 10AE jus because of the fact that they are rare.

Was going to be a street car but thinking about just putting a TH400 in it ..

still need a longblock regaurdless

if your goin to do TH400, i believe the 98's have the correct flex plate to use with the dual pattern torque converter bolt holes. but if you go that route, just remember, your talking about doing 3000+rpm just to do 60mph, since it wont lock up the converter. so unless you see a solid rear end conversion very soon for it, you may want to consider the extra effort of the T56.

i've got a built 4l60e w/a yank converter i also have a set of custom oliver 6.2 inch rods a set of je custom forged pistons to go with the rods a stock crank and a block that needs sleeves i went 7.0 @99mph 1/8 with this set up a set of ported ls1 heads and a 200 shot, if u sleeve this block you can probably spray it harder i never lost oil preassure and it never smoked
