WTB: 700-R4 Truck transmission
Hello everyone, I'm looking for a known good or recently rebuilt transmission for a early 80's chevy truck. I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but the truck its going into is a diesel. The trans I have has serious mechanical failure and would not be worth rebuilding.
The truck the trans is for is: 1984 Chevy C20 Silverado w/ 6.2l Diesel

Ive got 3 good 700r4's(im keepin 1) out of 3 89 s-10 Blazers with 4.3 engines.If that meets your criteria Lmk .and you can come check em out and make a offer.thanks -James-

My truck is 2WD, and my understanding is that the 700r4 that was put into the 3/4 ton Diesel trucks is different than the ones that were put into the s-10's and blazers.. (longer spline on the shaft, different torque converter, etc.)
