Default WTB: SBC shortblock

lookin for a v8 sbc shortblock...built or not, lemme know a price. prefer 350+ cubes.

you should look into ghost727's, its a 331 but it still has a 6 inch rod and nice size domes for compression, i think he only wants $900 complete shortblock..

i sold that on monday with the trans,stall,n2o plate,carb and water pump.i'm sure i could find some killer parts at a good price for u.are u looking for an all out race engine or just somthing tell like 900hp?

gimme the specs on it if ya could, not sure how the heads/cam will act with the smaller cubes, but i could always spray it lol

yea you are gonna lose some torque with the smaller cubes but that is a plus for traction, but the motor will rev easy and make power in the upper rpm's

not so much worried about the torque, but the airflow...need to keep the velocity up to utilize larger runners like the 215cc ones and the manifold. more cubes means more air getting sucked by at higher velocity, a 350 will flow the same air as a 327 would at 6500rpm, but the 350 would do it at a lower rpm. im not lookin to spin till kingdom come

yea a 350 and a 327 are both a 4 inch bore..

yea, i know, be nice if i could find one that is .040 over already, that way i can use my rods/pistons i have sitting here.
