How would you compare the seat of the pant's feeling going from the s/c to turbo?

Only reason i'm asking is, I put a BD-11a PowerDyne on my '98 Ram Sport 360. I'm on 9lbs and it pull's retardo hard but i'm wondering if it will yank a little harder with the 70 trim I have, on the same amount of boost. I'm a hair short of clearing my 400whp/500wtq goal to go 6 speed and been tossing the idea back and forth because i'm really wanting to ditch the auto.
