i bought a vortech v2 kit for my 03 mustang 4.6 and im mocking everything up in my head and the pullies dont seem correct to me. there is some pulley switching and a replacement pulley that is supposed to come with the kit but i have a ribbed pulley and it seems to need a smooth one. i was wondering if anyone near the new port richey area has a vortech on their 4.6 that i could check out just so i can see everything already done so i can take some stress off my mind. let me know guys

Not sure if this is the same set up. I tried to google 03 4.6l Vortech. These were the best two pics that popped up. I would suggest googling a similar set up to see if you can pinpoint it that way.

Both motors are different. The top one is very close but the bottom looks o be the 3.8. I figured out that i was missing a pulley so i ordered that but ibwould still like to see someone elses car in person as i have a photographic memory and it would really ease my mind alot on the install. I have found pics obline of the setup but the bracket is in the way of the pullies hiding in back of it and thats what i need to see most

the pulleys on mine where a pain as well but luckily when i found out the ones i needed i went to NAPA and was able to get them delivered the next day. I think they are actually AMCO pulley's vortech uses

Ide let you see mine if i was closer.
What helped me was googling the vortech 99-04 mustang install guide it cleared up the questiosn i had about the pulleys
