That block has probably been drilled and had the 4 bolt main conversion done to it. That or its a 429 SCJ block.
Whats the casting #'s?

I obviously stand corrected.
I apologize for the incorrect info. I try to pride myself on only posting correct info.
Sorry for the mistake.

No where in my books do they list a DOVE-A as a block casting number.

Only for the 69 - 72 Lincoln 460 heads.

I'm basing my info from the original Chilton manuals.
Now I am buggered and will dig this out.

I've never seen a DOVE-A cast into the block like that.

My father inlaw was a mechanic for the county from 1966 till he retired in 1993. He gave me all of his old Chiltons and Haynes factory manuals from 1955 - 1987. I have them all,.. Dodge, Chrysler, Plymoth, Desoto, AMC, Studebaker, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Buick, Chevy, Pontiac, Oldsmobile,.. if it was a domestic brand during that time frame I have the books for it. They are stored up in the crawl space above my garage. Thats why I didnt want to go digging for it. But now I'm flustered because I thought I was right and found out I was wrong. I guess I'm losing more than my hair this early in life LOL.
