anyone want to trade a set of regular gt40's for my gt40p's? p headers for an early chassis are wicked expensive.

get the ford racing headers
i forget wat the part# is but my friend has a set he paid like $200-$250 on and they r lifetime warranty. they didnt know they would fit ALMOST EVERY set of heads out there till he looked at my ford racing magazine/book

i have a set of them. problem is the engine is going in a 66 and they don't work in the early cars. the p headers for the early chassis are about $550 and i'm not about to spend that kind of coin.

did you try using the shorty sparkplug. On my friends 65 he had the same problem, I believe it was Accel that sells a short plug and with tight 90's wires he made it work. Wish I had pics but this was about 10 yrs ago.

most regular long tube headers clear the p head plugs. if its close use the shorty accel plugs like he said.
