FS: 86 coupe ROLLER
The only thing you have to cut up is the towers. Theres a kit to remove them so you can install updated suspension. Buy a house closer to me and I'll help you.
Heres a link to a guy doing the same thing.

Well to someone that truly understands modular engines and how to get power out of them they might think the same about the 289 that came in the car.

well if its a 2 valve motor you will be lucky to get 400 hp out of it. at about double the price it cost to get the same hp from a windsor. so I think I understand pretty well. I have built several mod motors. then you have to hack up the front end to get it to fit. then try working on it in the car. yours looks nice and probably fast but just too expensive for my wallet.
Someone needs to buy this car!!!!! Hands down, one of the nicest 4eyed coupes around. He's got $1500 worth of parts on it and a very clean car.
If i didn't have the fairmont, it would be in my driveway.

I read about a mod build that was a completely stock 97 short block with PI heads intake and comp 273 cams that got over 400hp. all with a completely stock short block. Just saying is all . Nice roller , I wish I could buy it because I have a complete 97 motor and a complete PI motor
Modular conversions are great. My car makes north of 750hp (without use of nitrous) and has A/C,PS,PB and drives like a normal car on the highway and still gets 17+mpg on highway. It will be hard to find all of this in a pushrod motor. Don't get me wrong I love the pushrod motors but they are getting dated.
Sorry John for getting off topic. Free bump for a clean roller.
