how when the tag # was for a 3550 rated at 350 also it was a 10 spline

 

I apologize, the last pics you post show the tranny better, it is a 3550.

 

yea i know mine was.i just cant see the diffrence in the 3550 and the tko 500 600 his pics are to big.i believe him im just saying to me they look close

 

The tail shafts are completely different.

Get a bigger monitor and run a higher resolution,..
The pics are only 25% of my screen at 1920x1080 resolution,.. (Shrug).

I have no reason to make this up.
3550 is NOT the same as 500/600 TKO.

Either you had a 500 or your buddy was duped or you just thought they looked the same. Take your pick.

They had 26/31 spline 3550 based TKO's also. The one I showed is an early 1999 TKO. You have to remember the TKO II's were 3550 based and also had 26/31 spline and rated 475 lbs. The one I have is only rated 425lbs.

to bad i could not find a 600 when i sold my 3550 and went c-4 i miss a stick

Edit: I stand corrected,.. just looked at it again. That is a 3550 based tail shaft. That is a 3550 shifter on there.

You do realize that THEY ALL SAY 3550 at the top? You read the lower left number to tell what the trans is. 500/600 have a TCET***** number. 3550 are different.
