i have a 4.6l 03 explorer block or take short block didnt put the second thrust on the back main and motor went 1500 miles and it spun the rod bearrings because of yo much thrust the mains are still like new see cross hatching from the factory line hoan
this is the block that is the strongest nex to the teksen i was told it was stronger but its all in opinion from what i was told by ford racing tech. call me 863-698-0675 250$
