Bought a car for my son who turns 16 in 3 weeks. He doesnt know about it yet. The motor has a tick and I wont be able to tear it down till later in the week to find out if its just the valve train or within the rotating assembly itself.

Trying to cover my bases just in case I need a short block. Does anyone have or know about any decent short/long blocks for sale? I dont have alot of cash to deal with but I have some brand new wheels with tires I can throw in if it helps make the deal work.

I dont know if I need it yet.. so not trying to make any promises. But just in case, I do need to know what is available to me.

I myself have mistaken an exhaust leak for a lifter tick before.

I went over and got a motor from Gator. Looked pretty good so I got it.

Something you guys dont know about Gator,.. hell I didnt know until we started talking,.. but we go back,.. I mean Gator and I go back 25 yrs mutha effers!!!

I grew up in SE Wash DC,.. I'm sure you guys have heard me say that a million times. Well just so happens Gator was MC'ing for E.U. and like I did,.. knew Sugarbear of EU (I forget his real name,.. I only knew him as Sugarbear) and Luther,.. I forget his last name aka Luke Skyewalker of 2 Live Crew. They all were doing Junkyard or Go GO as we called it back then in DC. I remember them doing small gigs in firehouses and corner bars and then later doing the Md state fair after they were recording records. I used to wear parachute pants dragging a card board box behind me when I was a kid doing break dance moves. You wouldnt know it by looking at me today,.. but I was a 'lil hustler' when I was a punk kid LOL. For those that dont know who EU was,.. look up 'Da Butt'.
