Default 4-eyed HVAC Controls...green backlighting

Came out of an '81 Zephyr but is the same as Mustang and Fairmont (except stock Mustang backlighting is Red/Orange). Good shape comes with light harness, heater cable and vac lines. Heater, A/C and front defrost. No rear window defrost controls on this one but I have another that has that too. Same price. $40.00

$45 if I have to ship it.

Maybe the different lighting will make my 8 Track sound better ... yeah, Bee Gees music ... yeah ... Bee Gees.

BTW - Tony, you got any cruise control goodies?

Actually, at least the '79 Mustangs had the green backlighting on the HVAC controls. They also had green graphics symbols on the speedo and tach. I gots no problem with 8 track.

What do you need in the way of cruise control, I've probably got something somewhere?

When finishing the '84 Coupe project, we wish to get the cruise and A/C both functioning as a re-newed car. The only parts I believe I see we have, as of yet ... the black box, and the chained switch at the brake pedal.

So, you're missing the unit in the fender, thecable to the throttle, the vac hose and plunger switch?

Chained switch? Kind of like a light bulb with a string/chain? The only one I've seen are the vacuum shut off switch that's at the top of the brake pedal..black screw in barrel and a white plunger hooked to a big vacuum hose. OTOH, it been mostly '85's and '86's that I've rooted around in that area of the dash.

"Chained switch? Kind of like a light bulb with a string/chain?" --- Yep

Let me research this a bit more ... 4eyedpride, here I come.

Will let you know if our HVAC is not working, soon.

Thanks Tony
