Would I need anything else to run this cluster? I'm electronically uninclined.

I'm not 100% on this but I thought the 94/95 used a mechanical speedo cable from the T5 like the Fox do?

I know the 96 - 98 use a mechanical sending unit out of the T45,.. but is converted to an electronic signal before it hits the harness and the dash sees nothing but an electronic signal.

Also,.. There are the 4.6 2v dash and 4.6 4v dash. 2v redlines at 6000,.. 4v redlines at 7000. IIRC,.. the 94/95 5.0 start the yellow at 4500,.. then redline at 5500 or 5800. The 94/95 Cobra cluster is the same but is white and says SVT on it. Also,.. the Cobra's got a 160 mph speedo,.. GT stopped at 150 and the V6 cars only go to 120. So there are some considerable differences between the clusters. Refacing a V6 cluster with V8 faces will make the speedo and tach be off.

Saying 94 - 98 V8 covers a broad spectrum of different clusters.
