Wat exactly would it do for my 98 GT?

 

In case you don't know what a two step is, well, it's a 2 level rev limiter and it works like this: You're drag racing and you're at the starting line. You've set the stationary rev limiter to 4000 RPM so when you smash the accelerator pedal to the floor the engine will only go to 4000 RPM and it stays there as long as the pedal is floored and you are not moving. As soon as you release the clutch the system senses that you are now moving and the second preset rev limiter kicks in and your normal 6500 RPM rev limiter becomes activated. It's a great way to have very consistant launches.
