Only new Holley 4 barrel for around $300 will be a really generic vacuum secondary 600-680 cfm 4160 Avenger series carb with very limited adjustments. But I think thats what he wants,. ??

I paid $369 for a new Holley 600 cfm 4150 double pumper, mechanical secondaries. Had all of 50 passes at the track,.. I took a bath trying to sell it. IIRC I got $200 for it. 750 Holley 4150 will be $425+ for a new one.

$200 for a new Holley carb? 2 barrel maybe.

I personally cant stand Edelbrock/Carter carbs.

what size do you want is it for a 351 or 302. a double pumper holley is the way to go if you want it to run,be careful when buying one used its better if you can see it run or pay the person selling it to install it to make sure its not a turd. it took me 3 -100.00 carbs to make 1 good one. and I know how to work on holley double pumpers. so 300.00 and a rebuild kit later I have a great 700 dp and a big box of parts.

Very true information Barry on buying used. Unless I set it run I not paying 25.00 for it. Once a Holley sits for a while, you can just about guarntee a rebuild

The one I had Tommy sat on the shelf in my laundry room for about 6 months before I sold it and they never contacted me back saying they had any problems with it. It had maybe 50 passes down the track on it,.. it still looked new. Maybe with an older one I could see the gaskets drying up,.. but not all are a bad deal.

But I will agree,.. even though I had a hard time selling mine,.. I refuse to buy a used carb. I've purchased maybe 3 or 4 over the years and each one needed to be rebuilt.
