If it was turnkey, I wouldn't be selling it, I would simply keep it at a family member's home or something. If it were turnkey, I'd sell my Truck before I sold the car...

It'd be a shame to have to sell it before you ever got it running... but we all know times are a bit tough so if you do end up having to sell, good luck.

Thanks Chris.

Although this is not a personal economic issue; it's a place to live issue, which does cost money... Money I had not budgeted for, as this was an unforeseen change...

Damn, this is one car I was looking forward to seeing run down the track! Didn't you just buy that house? Maybe put it into a storage locker or something - $50/mo until things get better? I've got plenty of room outside my place here if things get down to it...Good luck!!!

Johnny, I just built a house in Brooksville w/my Fiance. She is the reason I'm looking for a place, not the house. House is fine, perfect, dandy. She on the otherhand, not so much...

I can afford to keep the car. I can afford to store the car. I can afford to finish the car if I do intend to keep it. Again, this is merely a "testing waters" and trying to gather information -- I've just had a HUGE reality check, and wake up call, and need to know wherein lies my "out" or "worst case scenario" if you will.

I just spent a couple thousand dollars moving my Uncle down here from TN to start a business with him, and getting a house for him. Then I have some extra loot that was going to be for finishing this car with him, and use it as a rolling advertisement for what we can do to customize interiors. However, now, priorities are me finding a place FIRST for myself now - THEN the car... If I find a place, and it's going to cost me more out of pocket than what I have saved, then the car will go to the person that's given me the best offer - period. If I find a place, and can cover the costs, then the car will stay...

I feel bad for you bro,.. I went through a similar situation 10 years ago. Its the whole reason why I ended up in Fla. I was in a bad way,.. quit my job,.. went on a 3 week pill and booze binge,.. laid in my own piss and vomit among other things,.. thankfully I had friends who pulled me out and helped me get back on my feet again. Your a lot stronger person then I was.

I hope the best for you.

As stated by others,.. if you need a place to store you car,.. I can also provide a safe and secure location to store it as well.
