wanted 99+ mustang factory head unit
like the title says, car has mach 460 in it, not sure if it matters. just want something that i can plug in

You talking about a stereo?
If so,.. any new stereo you buy will work. Just get a Ford stereo adapter harness from any electronics store like Best Buy or Circuit City will have them. Its like $15. Simply plug it into the harness on the stereo head unit,. then plug it into the harness that went to the stock stereo,.. viola.
I have a 2 year old JVC head unit I'd sell for $50. Plays regular CD's and MP3's from CDR discs. Used to have a remote,.. but doesnt work anymore. They wanted $60 for a new remote,.. told them to get fucked. Was in my 96 GT. Now sitting on my shelf taking up space.
