Geesh, I cant beleive how much intercooler prices have dropped, I paid almost 1000.00 on my intercooler alone. And that bitch aint nothing special either.

 

Thanks for the links, Andel. The Chinese had a good Olympics show but I'm not sure about their intercoolers. Of course, my American one is sitting here with a split seam. The first one might work...just have to put on my metric hat and see how it fits.

 

I have one from extreme turbo systems rated to 700 HP, it has in/outs on opposite ends though.

 

That would require all new piping though. Not something I would really want to do.

I've done a little checking and found the leak in mine. It's not inside like I thought. Looks like the seam along the edge of one of the bar and plate units just let go. Might be fixable with a healthy load of epoxy (ehhh) or if I can find someone that can weld aluminum toilet paper, might could just run a bead down both sides of it.

 

i got a friend who has one identicle to the pic but in ra aluminum finish i think he was talking about upgrading i will ask him.
