Mileage on this car is irrelevant. The motor has been replaced. Plus, it's a 67, the odometer doesn't read any higher than 99,999 miles. It is more likely that it has 196,000 miles on it. Which is not really relevant either because as stated before....the motors been replaced. These cars came with 200 I-6's, 289's, and 390's. The 67 never came with a 351w in it. This car is mainly for fun....and would be good at the fun part.
What are the floor pans like in it? I would think that if the hood is rusted, then the floor pans will be also. It's a common problem. But no 67 with rusty floor pans is worth $5500. If the floor pans are good, then it's TOTALLY worth it assuming no rust in the trunk space. I keep seeing this ad, and feeling that if no-one has picked it up at this price, then it likely isn't worth it or the right sucker hasn't been found yet. Not trying to be mean....I'm just saying that if it hasn't sold after 2 months at one price, then the price is likely too high for what the car is. Of course you can part it out and make 10x as much. You can do that with almost ANY car. Thats how junk yards make their money. They buy a car for $100 and sell the rearend out of it for $150, the glass for $75-200, and the stearing box for $60. They just quadrupled their money and still have more left. I would suggest a price of 4999, but thats just me. I don't have that much either, but....someone else might and the main number change of 5 to 4 might be just enough to make the difference. Just trying to help you out a bit.
