If you notice the cover over the column you can see that it was an air bag car.

 

no, it doesn't have the airbags.. the date code is 09/89 so it just barely made the 90's model.

The calibrated speedo and chunks missing on the steering wheel says it might be a SSP? No blue hoses though. Am I close?

 

the speedo did come out of a cop car but its not calibrated you would need 3.55 gears to calibrate it. i bought it from a guy who doesn't know jack shit about mustangs and pretty much screwed everything! and i've had to fix alot of his mess up's'!
