. but thanks i was wrong. for some reason i was thinking the welds had the lug holes sunk into the wheel instead of having the lugs sitting flush.

The 302 motor shouldnt need an aluminum rad.. It may be as simple as needing a new t-stat or a water pump. Or it may just need to be burped or flushed. Or possible a 3 core rad for dirt cheap if your rad is bad.
