Testing Waters: F/S 302 Aluminum Heads & Cam Package...
$OLD!
Looking at possibly selling my Heads & Cam package... Here 'tis the info:
Aluminum Heads - Completely Assembled
Purchased @ NMRA Event for $1,100...
1.6 Aluminum Roller Rockers
Valves / Springs / Etc
Pictures of the Heads/Valvetrain:

Comp Cams XFI Cam - Part #35-775-8
$270 plus shipping new... Cam Info: COMP Cams Xtreme Fuel Injected Camshafts: CCA-35-775-8 - summitracing.com
All parts are completely new, never been fired. Been installed, never fired. Obviously I've had several issues with the heads fitting my car - so that is why I'm selling them. I think that someone willing to have them machined to their combo - is going to get a helluva deal. Willing to part the cam from the heads - but the springs are matched, so offering as a combo!
$800 cash money takes it all! If it doesn't sell then I'll put on eBay

...Aluminum ones!
They're the "Victor Jr knockoffs" - not from ProComp (korean), but they're Australian... So - your guess is probably as good as mine to be honest with you. They, obviously, were on the car when I purchased it.
Sidenote for possible future owner(s) - Jay Allen from Camshaft Innovations stated that the valve train lineage problem is definitely due to the pushrods being too short.

Pushrods may be cheap. A new head/cam/valvetrain may be expensive. But the fact of the matter remains that these heads are not going to be used on my car. If someone wants to buy them, buy pushrods (correct length), and throw safety by the wayside - that is why I am selling them.
I'm looking at a 90% track & 10% street car. I'm looking to be efficient, consistent, and fast. I'm not looking to make band-aids in my setup, to just be able to say "I did it" with a certain head that happened to be on my car at the time.
Let us not forget that the valvetrain lineage is not, and has not been, the only problem I've had with or from these heads:
Intake Seating:

Valvetrain Lineage (supposedly can be fixed w/the "correct" pushrods):

And let's not forget - Header Fitment, Valve Cover Fitment, and Spark Plug Fitment as well.......
I've had enough headaches with poor ole Frankie; and I'm ready to be finished with that and start having fun. Many of the "issues" and headaches point back to these heads. And the fact that they are not a PREMIUM choice, a QUALITY piece. "You get what you pay for" goes a long way IMO when you are talking about clearancing issues, and so on...
It's my car, my choice. Heads are being SOLD. An entire new setup will be purchased, and installed. This way - if anything fucks up - it was MY CHOICE, and I have no one to blame other than myself. If it screams like a raped ape, and runs solid in the 6.50 class at Sunshine - then I can pat myself on the back, and enjoy peace of mind knowing that I did the right thing, and my car will be more efficient all the while........
So... Heads/Cam/Valvetrain F/S!
