Default fs 501 ci BBF '87 Coupe

**New Price 11,900** I know that’s a lot but have a lot invested. It’s a track only car right now. I don’t run an alternator. It is registered and I have a tag but not sure why anyone would want to drive this on the road. It is fast. PICS are in my garage and have added a few on the post. I’ll try to remember all that I have done over the past year but may forget some things so feel free to PM or ask if I don’t address something. I also have all receipts and specs (cam card, bob weight for crank etc,.) for anyone interested in seeing them. All work done in May of 06. Car has been a weekly bracket car at Sunshine since this season (Feb 07) with no problems at all. Short block was assembled by Dave Fletcher (AMT in Tampa)
MOTOR:
· Block is 460ci BBF .030 over stroked to 501ci
· Eagle crank w/2.20 rod journals, 4.140 stroke. Crank knifed, smoothed and internally balanced.
· All clevite trimetal bearings
· Eagle forged H beam rods 6.700 length
· SRP forged pistons small 28cc dish.
· Edelbrock Performer Cobra Jet heads. (these things will swallow a tennis ball down the intake ports) *(casting # 61649) 75cc chamber volume. (Makes it about 11 to 1 CR)
· Valves = 2.19int/1.76exh. Heads were decked and spring rates checked for correct rates. Clean up porting to remove casting marks and roughness (Tommy at Amtex Machine)
· Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake. Clean up porting to remove casting marks and roughness.
· Holley 4150HP 1000 cfm (casting # (80514). Custom worked by Scotty McLendon carburetors in Lutz. (Power valve blocked off, custom venturis’, tricked metering plates.)( 88jet’s up front 92’s in back).
· Comp Cam and lifters. .Hydraulic (low maintenance) 585 lift, 305 duration. (Grind# FF 305H-10).
· CSR electric water pump,Aluminum radiator w/electric fan.
· Motor plate/mid, hooker headers to Flow masters, tubular K member, flaming river manual rack, Manual brakes.
· Canton 7qt oil pan.
DRIVETRAIN:
· C6 reverse manual valve body. B& M shifter. J&W billet servo. Red clutches. ATCO torque converter (I launch at idle). Built by Paul Dorn (Lip Shifted Transmissions, Clearwater)
· Aluminum drive shaft.
· 4.10 FRPP gears, spool, 4 lug strange axles with 2 inch studs. 8.8 with adjustable uppers, lowers and lake wood 90/10 - 50/50 front and back. (Gear works, Clearwater).
· Torque boxes welded, sub frames welded etc.
BODY:
· Fresh “yellow green effect” paint, looks awesome. (Dixie paint and body)
Roll bar with racing seats, RJS 5pt belts, full gauges,.
· Fiberglass pin on hood and trunk deck. Remote fuel filler from A.R.T. Fuel Cell, remote shut off, Optima red top in rear.
TIRES/Wheels:
· WELD draglites w/MT skinny’s up front, 26x10 MT slicks in rear. Fronts are 4.5 wide and rears are 10in w/6in backspace.
Car runs great and techs at BTE events and NMRA w/no problem. Runs 6.86’s @101 all day long. I run weekly at Sunshine (Fri nights) if you’d like to look at the car in action. First year racing. I have kids and with baseball, piano basketball and everything else I’m just to busy to lug this thing around every week. I don’t “NEED” to sell this but testing the waters. I am top 10 in points and looking to go to Divisional finals in GA this year so price needs to be good for me to sell.

Not going to sell the trailer just yet. Gonna wait to see if car sells and may go if new owner needs it. If not, I'll keep your info and let you know.
