I have one that has a bent shift fork I can deliver tomorrow for 250.00..I had my replacement built by promotion in Ft Lauderdale.They are not up and running due to Wilma.Check the article on Dec 05 5.0 magazine for a write up on them...LMK asap so I can plan on the trip or not..

Ok, sorry, not that ASAP, have to wait till friday for a paycheck
Up north I always found good condition T45s for $300 or less, noone wanted them. Hoping for the same here, but there were a lot more fast Fords up there so who knows.
I'll let you know, I've never done tranny work at all other than swapping. What's involved in changing the shift fork? I'll look at my manual tomorrow also.
