Well I don't know the issue, the car is Idleing Rough, and there is a knock on the tranny, so I believe the tranny is going bad, or there was something wrong when they put the engine in... I had my neighbor do it for $400, ( Put in all the parts in the engine together and in the car )
It has almost everything new.
I was looking to get $1700 for the whole car, but parting it out seems like it's going to give me alot more.. The rims themselves with tires, im selling for $ 850 + engine $995, that right there covers what I was selling the whole car for. I mean the car is still driveable... I have to take it to work until I sell the engine, because I have no other way of getting to work.( Right now if I was to sell whole I would want $1700 without the rims. )
I would sit it on donuts...since I ain't got money to put tires on it.

i understand. So your buddy put the 2.4 together and now you have knock?
Why not just check the tranny. Do you have paper work of said new parts ( purchase proof) and pics of the install would be nice.

Well.. the 2.4L is fine, the engine is all good. The tranny has a rough kind of knock, and it grinds on 2nd gear. I don't know the cause. I don't have any paperwork of purchase or anything about install. This car was supposed to be my car, and only mine.. I wasn't planning on ever selling it. I'm selling it because I just can't handle it no more, I've put too much money on it, and I'm on minimum wage.. so I can't keep putting money on it.
Last year, I made 10k the whole year, and 3k went in the car, on labor and all parts.
I was going to buy a Throttle Body, with Sensors, and that would fix the Idle issue I believe. Before I wanted to check the whole car, and I took it to a local shop, and the guy tested the tranny for noises and all, and there is a rough knock when the car revs up, that is in the tranny.
I wanted to sell the car, but I don't want to pass the headache to anyone else, unless you're skilled , and are willing to take the challenge. I'm in no rush to get rid of the car, I mean I do need a Daily Driver for work, but for the meantime I can use it, and I can use my girls car. So I had in mind to start parting it out, I got a few people that want parts so if you're interested in the car, and want to see it, I can drive it by your house... or whatever.
