Hey I'm looking for a dohc head for a 99 neon, can be bare or loaded it dosnt matter, its for a friends car so he can get it running so he can work again, if anyone has one please let me know, thanks

the 2.4 head is the exact same casting as the 2.0 head

are there any advatages or disadvantages of using a 2.4 over a 2.0

 

that depends on which 2.4 head you use. the 01+ pt heads (non turbo. may also include stratus, im not sure) have a different exhaust port design which supposedly flows better. i say supposedly, because i really havent seen any dyno proof of this. the 01+ pt head has smaller, more squared exhaust ports in comparison to the earlier 2.4 heads (which are the exact same as the 95-99 2.0 neon dohc heads)
