sohc or dohc, im gettin my car fixed at this shop tomorrow and he has a dohc with intake mani,exhaust mani, pretty much complete motor, and then the sohc is just head block oil pan pretty much everything but exhaust mani and intake mani....dohc $300 sohc $250.....

you wont find a 420A engine in any dodge except the avenger, neons use the D4RE and the S4RE, he means the DOHC 420A engine...again, only the avenger has a 420A(though the 420A computer can run either the D4RE or the S4RE, they will not exactly bolt in to your car)
