Just a few pics of my dads mk3 we just got all wrapped up, some of you may remember the car from Tx2k9 for winning the Best Overall MK3 trophy but then it had just been thrown together the day before the meet now its all done for the most part.
A little background on the car it's an 89 and was purchased stock with rodknock, after letting it sit for a while we tore it down had it stripped and painted, and built a motor for it with Custom Cp pistons, Pauter rods, New Toyota Crankshaft, Oil Pump etc. Clevite Bearings, Ferrea Valvetrain, Toda Cams, Titan Headgasket, Arps and so on.
Then we dropped it in the car with an Aem, Hks To4z, SP exhaust manifold, Custom intake, a custom coil on plug ignition setup, Koyo Radiator, Tein HA coilovers, KSport Big brake kit, O-Z Racing wheels, Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors and all the supporting mods. The car so far has made a best of 648RWHP @25psi and will soon be tuned @30psi.
