Bradenton Motorsports park has a 1/4 mile NHRA sanctioned drag strip and they will have street bike racing on Friday night. If you have never been, this is a nice facility with plenty of space for a big crowd. It is super easy to find, just a few miles east of I-75 in Bradenton. $12 will get you in the door to watch or to race. They don't really give any specific information on drag racing your bike - I think that anyone who wants to race can. Sounds like it is going to be a good time!!! Find more info at

Here's the kicker... BMW North America will have a BMW Performance Center S1000RR drag bike at the event to be run against the other bikes. Apparently this is a Brock's Performance Deluxe drag bike package on a BMW S1000RR with absolutely no power added. They have been participating in these type of events all around the US and apparently the S1000RR is smokin the competition! We can't wait to see what that bike can really do - it is definitely going to be an exciting night!
