You may remember me I posted the pic of the Subaru Continental getting a real "flame job" a few years ago. These days we're racing mustang Boss 302s in the same series..enjoy the pics, use them as you wish.

Just got back from Kansas where we finished 2nd. will update tomorrow with more pics/info. continental sports car challenge GS class.

Congratulations! Some people don't realize the effort required to race.

 

This car has beena rocket all year but was snake bit. At Daytona we were running 3rd and were taken out by lapped traffic, at Sebring 5th until an axle flange broke, Laguna Seca ..never really found the set up but broke a spindle anyway at Kansas it was azz kicking time. We qualified 3rd only to be booted in tech because we had a piece of duct tape over the brake ducts so we had to start last (23rd) so we were really happy with 2nd.
Hard on the brakes...

 

You guys have been running really good!

If they allow brake ducts, a person would think that brake ducts would not
at that point become mandatory.........

Last to 2nd through traffic is remarkable. It's a lot easier to stay up front than
it is to come from behind.

How long before the next race?

 

Yeah well one mustang version has the duct completely closed off with a plastic "filler" panel so I don't know, I think the tech guy was fixated on the word "tape". Its about 2 weeks before Watkins Glen.

There may be a way of closing off a duct somewhere between the front
end and the brake, without using "tape" if a person were to get creative.
If his filler panel does not come from the factory, maybe yours doesn't have
to, either.

Looks like you have a few weeks until Watkins Glen. That's a pretty good deal
for the last race at Road Atlanta in October. Things will be cooler.
