Customer came in with his newly purchased S14. First on the list, remove the horrible exhaust that came with the car

After calling other local fabricators/shops he eventually decided to go with a Proven Power exhaust

GOOD CHOICE !

So lets start with some before pics of the original sweet exhaust:

Previous exhaust was also crush bent and caused restrictions in every bend !



Add on hangers ? WTF ?



...and lets not forget the dimes that the previous welder laid down (ouch!)









Ok so if you are like me then you had take a step back and really take that all in. So after i caught my breath i started with welding a short straight pipe to a NEW flange...







Then i added an elbow to the extension and finished it off with an approx 20 deg bend to mate with the remaining portion of the exhaust.





Comparing new to old...



We also replaced his homedepot bolts for some nice allen head bolts.

the guys also drove most of tampa to make sure i had the right parts. they also spent alot of time "fixing" the previous handy work. i am very happy with how everything turned out and thanks again.

Edit: just saw you posted 1 min before ! I forgot to take pics of the new hanger in the rear ... Youll have to bring it back for a dyno shared_session so we can get a baseline !

 

yeah i will try to make it in friday early, as long as i can get time to get the tires put on. any who i will call in ahead of time.

i got to watch a lil of this yesterday while i was getting some stuff done myself, and it came out absolutely gorgeous! Alot of time and care went into this, cant wait to get mine done!
