How would you have suggested to support the engine with only the passenger mount ?

posting from my cell phone so sorry for any typos and miss spelled words

if it was not on a lift I would of put a transmission Jack under the motor to hold the motor up untill I put the new clutch in. It should of only took a mater of hours to pull the trans and clutch to swap the clutch. Done it many time on both k series and b series swaps in hondas.

The reason my brother brought his car to the shop was he trusted my word that you guys where a bad ass shop. I'm a little dissapointed I let him down. The work is prob. top notch. With quality craftmanship I just didn't think it would of taken so long to do the swap. Which I'm sure you guys had massive work at your shop because it is a business. The only thing is you told my brother it would take more than 7days from the day of the drop off but it is surpassed that.

Please don't think I'm being negative and talkin down about your skills and abilty to wrench. It is just that I guess I set my exceptations to a higher level of standards. Seeing some of the product that has rolled out your shop.

Can't wait to see the finished product.

:woot:

Honestly, we were thinking the same time frame you were thinking too...(Hence why i told him it would be a MIN of 7 days.)

Your brother's car is also not the only vehicle we are currently working on.

We have done many HONDA trannys (keyword HONDA) B, H, K, D, F, etc. They take far less time then this has.

Honda out engineered Ford in every aspect for future maint. This is a much more challenging car to work on compared to a Honda.

We def dont want to be like other shops that simply tell their customers, "it will get done when it gets done."

We apologize that its not done within your expectations. We are trying to get it finished as soon as possible.

I know you guys have lots if work I figured as you are a shop none the less. And as for Honda making it 100 times easyer to work on I agree. My brother and I where the ones that had to put the SC on the car and it as by far a tedious task. That and the fact I don't have the place to do the tear down and install is why I didn't just do the work with my brother and I. So that's why it is in your hands.

I guess what it boils down to is that my brother informed you that he needed the car by "x" date, due to him moving. And now it puts him in a bind not having his car in the orginal time he was told. The past times I've been too your shop everyone is/was very helpful. Greate customer relations with me and my groupe of friends. I figured it would have been the same with anyone else.

Again please don't take these posts as me degrading you or shops abilty to wrench.
