I had an idea to do a rear mount turbo over the axle on my 96 GT at one point. I had measured it out and there is enough room under there. With a rear mount you can get away with a smaller intercooler because of the air traveling over the plumbing under the car cools the intake charge before it ever hits the intercooler. The spool up and boost time get a little lagged,.. but can still make some decent power and clears up room under the hood and done have to buy special manifolds. I found it was cheaper to build a rear mount then to do it under the hood after pricing it out. I ended up trading the car so never got around to that project.
Looks good so far.

NEVER BUY EBAY TURBOS!!!!!!!! so after a little thinking and bullshitting, we decided to rip both the turbos off and do a descent single turbo.

Damn man that sucks! You should tell him to get a precision. My brothers been through two precision turbos, one was high milage when we got it, and it ran great for 6+ months. Then we upgraded from the SC60 to the SC61. It runs like a champ. LHT can get you a great deal on a precision turbo, I believe they are a precision dealer. Maybe you can work a deal with them or something.
sorry to hear the hard worked took a shit
