my project/daily driver/weekend wheeler
i bought this truck in october of last year. it was 100% stock when i got it. when we got our first snow and i was actually able to stick it in 4wd, i was hooked. my friends and i have been going wheelin every sunday since then. when i got tired of scraping my skid plates and dragging my diffs, i decided it was time to get a bit higher off the ground. i put on a set of junky 31's and did a 2" lift. that was enough to make me want more. i ordered the lift and installed it as soon as it came in. ended up going with a 5.5" lift. that combined with the 2" already in place.... 7.5".... nice. threw on a set of 33's that i got a fantastic deal on. i'll chew these up and put on a set of 35's.
i haven't been able to take it out yet because three days after i got it done, the factory 267,000 mile motor took a crap on me. i'm mid swap on a 60,000 mile motor that i picked up from a friend of a friend for dirt cheap. hoping to take it out this sunday.
whatcha think?
