Default 1965 falcon 2 door wagon

redoing over my old man's wagon.....car had been sitting in the garage since 1992 when my dad passed unfortunately....I am redoing the 289 over with procomp heads, crane cam, hedman headers, holley intake and 600 CFM carb....should be cranking out anywhere between 350-400 HP when finished....car is truly one of a kind since how many grocery getters like this do you see....anyone who has a Falcon please ring in and lets chat

Jeff

Love the project, so keep us updated. Chad at www.racinginnovationsfl.com has had a few problems with the Procomp 210s on my build. Pushrods rubbing and rockers misaligned. I've heard the same problem several times so double check those things on yours. Good luck!!

I have the procomp 190's (aluminum) on there which will definetly bring life back into the 289....haven't heard anything bad about these types so everything should be cool.....ford only made 4891 on them back in '65 (2 dr models)......my understanding is that there are probably less than 500 left in existence....looking forward to going to the car shows and having something that is one of a kind

Great, a know it all

Definitely the problems Rookie & I both experienced were NOT an installation problem.
