I know it just has to be an optical illusion but the difference between the top 57" and the bottom 55.5" looks almost opposite in the pictures...

And what is up with the trans hump not being symetrical? Also, what kind of radius are we looking at in the middle?

Top is definitely wider. The hump is off as the drive-shafts on Fords are set at a side angle. If you ever look at the trans area in the engine bay is offset to the left. The trans and rear end aren't in a straight line.

All of the threads on this have been merged and cleaned of off topic and non related items. That will be $59.95 please !

Now as the forum rules say, only relative posts to this car, no off topic ish.

Thanks.

Just went thru all 7 pages. Lots of headaches, but looks like you're making good progress. It's always something w/these cars, isn't it??

Thanks Wade! Yes, it is always "something" - but that's kinda what makes it fun I guess.

Car is still at Racing Innovations, and even when I get Frankie home, it'll be sitting idle for a while until fundage allots itself

I can't believe this car is still around...it's been on TR for about 5 years.....
You couldn't have started with a better body....nice and straight....

I remember when I picked it up from Alan's bro......he was sitting outside of a rented house on a 5 gallon pale saying.."this is the last thing that has to go"

I gave him 50 bucks and took it home......

I hope you get it on the road Josh....I gave up and got tired of it after I got the vette....I had too much shit going on.

Haha, I hear ya man. I'll definitely be keepin' the ole fella! I've got long-term plans for the car! I'm going to see where I stand financially in the next few months, while trying to finish more classes at school and starting my real estate gig, and decide on how long the car will have to get stored when Chad is done with it down at Racing Innovations.

If all goes well, I'll be able to pick right back up and begin making forward progress again. However, I'm to the point now where the last few items left to do to the car are some of the most expensive ... IE: Heads / Valvetrain. So we'll just have to see where God puts me in the coming months!

Worst case scenario is I'll end up having the car back from Chad, and just begin putting it back together (had to strip it so he could do the cage). Then once back together I'll just have to store it for a few months until I get back on top monetarily.

I'm hoping to be able to put the hustling days behind me, and just be able to focus on school and a SINGLE job to make the money that I'm accustomed to making...
