I've decided to move forward and stop with the "HP" for a while. I want to focus more on the body of the car and get the car looking great. All my life I've said "Making the car look good cost money, witch in turn takes away from my go fast goodies" Now I'm focusing on the car looking as best as it can. Started cleaning the car up today and should have everything stripped out of it tomorrow.

I think I'm painting the whole car a custom color... So custom i have no clue what color I'm doing Really I'm waiting to hear from the painter and his idea's. I'm not a painter/body guy and won't pretend to be. I want this done right.

 

yea im a painter i wanted to do mine the new orange from ford that is on the new ford edge it would look very nice on a fox but i already started mine so i cant change the color now i have to put the realistic flames in mine next week ghosted

 

My plan for now is the engine compartment. Then once thats done i will work on figuring out what color. i have an idea but have yet to see it done in a long time so keeping it to myself for now.

 

Good start. It'll get your mind off the trans frustration for a while too. Youll be able to get that figured out later and the car will be sweeeet

 

Looks like the car is going 5 speed. I'll worry about the AOD in about a year or so.

 

Ha welcome to my world buddy! Ford left so many damn holes in these cars it seems like it takes for ever to clean every thing up. We just painted mine the other night finally.
