u might want to check out the real street class that some people are trying to start up for the sunshine an immokalee races..its stock suspension detuned some what..

where still trying to figure out the rules for the class..might be a small block only class..with single stage plate or fogger setup,max of an 88mm turbo an f1r for blower..

I really don't think they'll have much car count at Sunshine with that. They barely have 12 or so cars each month..split that into two classes, and at least one of them is gonna sink.

i think some cars will switch to that class if done and some 6.50 cars will step up..i think the fastest they will go is 5.30s in that class from what the rules look like.

all i will have to do is switch from the slicks to radials and then drop a 100# when switching from modified street to real street.

class looks fun and less expensive..u will be suprized how many people are doing m/s cars because radial is just to costly now.

 

It'll take away either stock suspension cars or 6.50 cars. We can spare a couple 6.50 cars, but not stock suspension. As much as I'd like to see a class like that, I see it doing better at BIG events, like Orlando and US Street Nationals.

 

i hope it happens..soon as the word gets out amanda alot of people will toss juice on there car or go turbo to run in it..u wont have to spend 30gs on a damn engine and another 20gs on a chassis to run in stock suspension class's

u could run in the class for lil over 12 grand if u know what your doing.

used rolling chassis for 3-4g's
budget race engine 7g's

and u got a grand to spend on other parts.

 

In the meantime, we're losing car count in other classes.

 

The point is to get the 9 sec cars at heads up madness Amanda.... I mean really they could do with just keeping 6.50 and ditching the other 2 index classes since no one give a fuck about them anyway

 

the new class is for an mid to high 8 second field..

shit 6.50 class is like a 9.90 class in the 1/4


from what i understand the talk of the class got started from the ez street rule talk on the orsca board and raidal board and it is meant to be like orsca's modified street class witch is a small block n2o class only on slicks..but where radial people so thats why its not on slicks and the rules are being opend for blown and boosted combos.
