im getting a bonestock y7 that im going to build and i need to know if i can put aftermarket z6 or y8 pistons,rods and other internals into the y7 block? i also want to put a y8 or z6 head onto the y7. so i need to know what i would need to do to turn the swap into vtec. its my first time doing a swap/building a motor so id appreciate the help TR, thanks

 

ya you can swap in other d series pistons. the rods for y7, y8, z6 are all the same though so you dont gotta change them. but bro, SEARCH and you can find everything you need. heres a write up on the whole thing.
