Its just a Single Slam....With a B-series tranny... Save the SOHC.

Well this is a project I have been working on off and on. This is a 96 civic 4door. This car was all stock and original when I purchased it about a year and a half ago. It had a y7 which I made into a mini-me and boosted it on 10psi for about 9 monthes and decided it was time for bigger and better things for it since it was no longer my daily driver. The car has been completly gutted on the inside, fuel tank is gone and a 5 gallon fuel cell is now installed. All under dash A/C and heater is gone, all sound deadening and rear doors gutted. Front and rear bumper supports all a/c, p/s compenents under hood are gone. This vehicle has been weighed in at 1955lbs
at the local metal recycling plant in lake wales when the d16 was still in it. So with me in it it will weigh in at approx. 2200 lbs.
The engine I decided on was the F23A1, Due to its cheapness and abundance. Also do to the things I have seen Bisimoto do with them. This will be a H2B, well F2B setup done with the QSD(Quarter Sports Development) H2B adapter kit and my B16a lsd tranny. The engine is fully built, bisimoto head, 1.5 turbo cam, and has a garrett t3/t4 turbocharger. These engines are incredibly strong in stock form. And it is still a Single Slam!! The engine will be put in this weekend and I will document with a ton of pics. Planning on getting it tuned to a good 300 hp, which should be very acheivable.

Received my Competition clutch and light weight flywheel. QSD will be shippin[ATTACH=CONFIG]154084[/ATTACH]g my adapter plate Monday afternoon, so should have this engine installed by next sunday hooefully. It is going to be a beast on 20 psi...Stay tuned.
